Lyrics / Video of Song : Na Kisi Ki Aankh Ka Noor Hoon
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu, naa kisee ke dil kaa karar hu
jo kisee ke kam naa aa sake, mai woh ek mushthe ghubar hu
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu
naa toh mai kisee kaa habib hu, naa toh mai kisee kaa rakib hu
jo bigad chala gaya woh nasib hu, jo ujad gaya woh dayar hu
meraa rang rup bigad gaya, meraa yar muhjse bichad gaya
jo chaman khijan me ujad gaya, mai usi kee fasle bahar hu
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu, naa kisee ke dil kaa karar hu
pay fatiha koi aaye kyon, koi char phul chadaye kyon
koi aake shama jalaye kyon -2, mai woh be-kasi kaa majar hu
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu, naa kisee ke dil kaa karar hu
jo kisee ke kam naa aa sake, mai woh ek musth-e-gubar hu
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu
mai kaha rahu mai kaha basu, naa yeh mujhse khush naa woh mujhse khush
mai jamin kee pith kaa bojh hu, mai falak ke dil kaa gubar hu
naa kisee kee aankh kaa nur hu

Thanks for post.
But let me clear as we all believe (including me) that this gazal was written by Zafar.
It is not true.
But It is written by is muztar khairabadi (Father of Janisar Akhtar).

ahmedhemani88 on Friday, February 05, 2010 Rafi saheb is a true maestro - divine voice, super control, sings with such conviction and feel that it makes the essence of the song leap out and it touches you.
And Bahadur Shah Zafar - you might have penned this melancholic ghazal reflecting the time - but today you are remembered very well as a patriot. Taj Mahal at some point in time might vanish, hope not, but your poetry will never die - it cannot.
keepadmiring on Sunday, February 14, 2010 Yaara i simply put it to the person who was asking what is Rafi singing about. Obviously meanings of the poetry goes beyond the words i could use to explain to him. Plus this beautiful poetry would lose the touch of it as english can not cover the emotions were described there. So i kept it simple for the person who wanted to know. I was not degrading the ghazal or Rafi or Bahadur Shah Zafar.

zfk110 on Tuesday, December 07, 2010 Rafi is Rafi...no parallel..a legend with multiple qualities, all in one.. an ultimate. he is a bench mark...and a shadow for others to chase only. legends do not born every day, but once in centuries. there are many who spend all their time to sing his songs. I wont hear anyone else in my life time as good as him.
