Lyrics / Video of Song : Sun Sun Sun Sun Jalima
sun sun sun sun jalima, pyar hamko tumse ho gaya
dil se mila le dil mera, tujhko mere pyar ki kasam
pyar ki najar se dur yu na jindagi guzar
husn tu hai ishq me kar bhi le najar ko char
char main najar karu aur phir huzur se
pas yu na aayiye bat kijiye dur se
sun sun sun sun jalima
dur kab talak rahu, phul tu hai rang main
main toh hu tere liye, dor tu patang main
kat gayi patang ji, dor abb na daliye
aur kisi ke samne ja ke dil uchhaliye
sun sun sun sun jalima
bat rah na jaye phir, waqt yeh guzar na jaye
mere pyar ka yeh har tut kar bikhar na jaye
pyar pyar kah ke tu dil mera na lut re
kah raha hai tu jo bat, ho na jhuth muth re
sun sun sun sun jalima

chamogaa on Saturday, September 13, 2008 Shyama was one of the loveliest actresses in my youth-- statuesque in shape, with a sweet face and a smile that looked as if a thousand flower buds had suddenly opened their petals. The slight wrinkles of the bridge between her eyes that she sometimes created brought forth both a twinkle in her glances and the possibility of some endearing mischief. And yet her acting had purity and innocence as well. That's the kind of stuff that used to melt young men's hearts.

chamogaa on Saturday, February 06, 2010 I knew she was an athletic Punjabi Sikh girl whom Sardul Kwatra introduced to acting in movies, but I didn't know she was from Lahore. Now in her 70s, she is rotund-- really heavy in shape and weight. Thanks for the info.
sonny19xx on Friday, August 17, 2007 this will rank as the greatest romatic duet of Hindi films.. Atleast will figure in the top 5.
sonny19xx on Friday, March 14, 2008 This is a song that will never die. This surely should count as one of the greatest duets from Bollywood. Guru Dutt and Shyama act out this song well. Rafi and Geeta's voices are just superb and OPN comes out with his best. THANKS kitaabik
